Surgical Services

Northwood Vet provides a wide variety of surgical services to meet our patients needs. We know when it comes to a planned or an unexpected surgery that you would prefer to work with veterinarians and nurses that you already know and that are familiar with your pet.

We offer in house surgical services in the following areas:

Soft Tissue – Spays & neuters and mass removals are the most common types of soft tissue surgery. Our surgeons will also cover intestinal blockages, internal tumor removal and bladder stones. For our short nosed dog patients ( Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs, etc) , we have a specialty surgical laser that makes soft palate surgery and nasal reconstruction safer & quicker.
Orthopedic – ACL or CCL injuries are very common in both young and old dogs. We offer the TTA2 procedure to repair these injuries and offer your dog a chance at regaining their active lifestyle. Fracture repairs, amputations and FHOs ( a procedure to relieve pain from hip dysplasia) are also available by our surgical team.
